Win2k pro for home?

I purchased Win2k Pro for home and was wondering what I need to know before preforming the upgrade from Win98? My Kids have some games on the PC in question. Is there alot of incompatabilies with Win2k Pro and games. I started the install and it came up and told me that I just needed to update Norton’s Antivirus 2000 and my HP Scanjet software. What do I really need to know and do?
