Win2k to XP upgrade & partition problems

I have upgraded my Win2K PRO to WinXP Pro and the upgrade on the boot “C” (primary IDE0) drive went fine. XP works great, but it will not see my Win2K NTFS formatted “D” (secondary IDE0)drive. The only option I have in Disk Manager is “delete partition”. Both drives were accessible in Win2k as NTFS, but now “D” is not. I am stumped. How do I make this “D” drive accessible in XP now w/o formatting the drive in XP and reinstalling all the data?
