Win2K virtual mem problem during update

I have a user that gets a quirky message every time she tries to download from windows update. She does not get this error any other time and she gets it even when windows update is the only program open on her computer (anti-virus software is disabled). The message she gets is, “Your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of you virtual memory paging file. During this process memory requests for some applications may be denied. For more informtion see Help.” I’ve tried increasing her paging file up to 1GB from her normal 382 MB and she still gets this message. Any ideas?
