Greetings…
I am trying to set up an Intel Celeron 400 machine with a dual-boot of either Win 98 or ME and Win2k. I have tried to achieve this several different ways: (1) Install Win98, then Win2k; (2) Install Winnt, then Win98, then upgrade Winnt to Win2k. No matter what I’ve tried, I always get a STOP: 0x0000007F (0x0000000 *4) error, UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP. The STOP code indicates a “Divide by Zero” error. I am not trying to do anything fancy here…I want Win98 on a standard 2047 MB DOS FAT-16 partition, and then Win2k on it’s own NTFS partition. I cannot get through the Win2k setup without getting the above error though.
Anyone have any idea??
