I recently removed our Win NT 4 server and box and installed a Win 2000 server and box. I had somes issues with DNS and our DSL router, but forwarding from the server to the router cleared that up. My problem is, after a few weeks, some of our Win95computers cannot log on. When the user attempts to log on it says the password is incorrect or access to the log on server has been denied. Sometimes if the user retries several times, they can log on. There are 3 Win95 computers and I am having problems with 2 out of the 3. We have a mixed batch with 2 XP Pro’s, 1 Me, 2 98se, and 3 95 computers. So far, this problem has only happened on Win95 boxes. I talked to our local computer store and they suggested I remove and recreate the user account.They said they know of several plces that have similar problems, but have no solution to the problem. I tried deleting and recreating the account and computer, but there are still problems. Can anyone help?
