Win95 “Send to Desktop” inop.

Im runniing Win95,in the “Send To” menu (right click on an icon,file etc,) the “Send to Desktop as a short cut” option is no longer operating. This item was not a target of any type of modification effort. I just realized one day it didn’t work. Been to the folder on a good machine but there is no difference in the size of the file. I don’t know enough about how this option is built to find it’s source or to know what is good or bad. The rest of the “Send to” options work fine. Send to Desktop is the only inop one. 700pts to the right answer. Thanks to all of you!!!
