Win98 access to AS400 with Client Access

We are keeping on encountering intermittent link outage by which the connection is Win98 accessing to IBM AS400 with Client Access. The other connections (eg, PC accessing to the same IBM AS400 via Eicon gateway) in the same network frame has no problem. We use Cisco 2924 to connect the equipment.

Appreciate it if anyone could provide us your experience, if any.
