WIN98 and W2k dual boot

I set my computer up to dual boot between windows 98 and W2k because I had a trial version of W2k that came with one of my Microsoft books. I have long since gotten rid of the trial version and I only run 98 on my present computer but the option to choose between 98 and w2k still comes up. How can I get rid of the w2k option? Can I just delete it out of my boot.ini file or will that cause problems?
