Win98 Display Setting & a network

by david baudais, isp . Updated 24 years, 6 months ago

I have the following situation:
I have 5 computers on a Peer to Peer Network. All the machines are Disparate, 4 are running Windows 98 and 1 is running Windows 2000.

I have set up my display apperance to be a Spruce Scheme while logged into the network. After rebooting the computer in question and relogging back into the network the display settings changes to High Contrast Black scheme. Nothing I do can get me back to the original setting unless I don’t log onto the network. In this case everything is fine. All computers have local profiles and not roaming ones. Can anyone help in suggesting how I can keep these display settings whether or not I am logged into the network? No viruses exist, all files and links have been fixed and seemto be functioning properly.
Thank You.
