WIN98 NOT SEEING SERVER SHARES

Hello,
our win98 workstations are not able to see shares on some of our NT Servers. They can see the servers in Network Neighbourhood, and can ping and tracert all servers.
We very recently rebuilt the WINS setup across our domain and that has helped alot? However the only way we can currently overcome this odd issue is to rebuil the server with the ‘apparent’ fault? We cannot keep doing this as we have 17 servers displaying this problem!
Any NT workstations or Win2000 workstations do NOT have this problem seeing the shares on our servers? We are quite stumped at the mo’ any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
