Win98 will not logon to W2K Server!

Hi there,

I am having troubles with our win 95 /98 Pc’s
logging into our W2K server. I do get a logon box but there is an error saying that the domian is not avalible… I am kind of new to the AD game, so this might be a stupid question I guess, I am a Novell NDS guy here. When I try to setup the domin login for the MS client I type in the domin that the server is under… server.domain.com, but when the MS logon box appears after the error it only shows the server.domain, not server.domain.com.

I did try just using domain.com but it still did not work.

I was kind of reading about importing the Pc’s into the AD, is this like adding NT Pc accounts in the old NT 4? Does this have to be done for 2000 AD?

Also Ican ping the server from all Pc’s.
