Win98SE ODBC Installer message ?

I’d recently applied some updates from the Windows Updates page (more than 1, don’t know which is the culprit). After rebooting the system, I get the following ODBC Installer message, both when initially getting on the desktop, and, when opening Control Panel:
“ODBC Can’t load the resource \Windows\System\ ”
Anyone know what causes this, and how to fix it ? Thanks.
