Windows 2000 and CD Burners

I have a cd burner installed in my machine at home, running under Windows 2000. Whenever anyone (i.e. my kids) want to burn a cd (music for instance) they can’t because they don’t (and Won’t!) have administrator access. Is there some setting I’m missing to allow users without admin access to use the cd burner? And yes, it works just fine as long as an ‘administrator’ is using it.
