Windows 2000 Client Errors

I have about 10 Win2k machines on our network. All 10 have this error logged in event viewer “Windows cannot dtermine the user or computer name.Return value 1722.”
I have looked at technet and there solution to input a correct DNS entry does not work. Event ID 1000
Any suggestions?
