Windows 2000 DC offline.

I just upgraded my PDC to Windows 2000 and the process went smoothly. However, I took the Windows 2000 Domain Controller offline until I can make the necessary DNS entries and make the DHCP fully functional. When I went to promote a BDC back to PDC it displayed a message that I may receive errors when I bring the DC back online. Anything I need to do to avoid trouble when I am ready to bring my Windows 2000 DC back online? Thanks.
