Windows 2000 Default User

by ruedac . Updated 24 years, 8 months ago

Good morning everyone:

I have some questions for you. This is my scenario, I have 100 Windows 2000 clients in a NT4 Domain. First off, a while back I posted a question on how I could have all my clients see the programs\printers I installed using my network I.D. someone suggested that I make this my default user profile and it did work.
However, this also copied all the drive mappings. Does anyone know of a way to take the drive mappings out of the default user profile??? Is there a folderor a key that needs to be deleted??? The reason I need to know is because I want the drive mappings to be pulled off the PDC through a bat file when the clients log in not through the Default user profile. I need the flexibility to be able to change the login script ever so often to point to new servers.
