Windows 2000 Deployment

We are planning to upgrade our desktops to Windows 2000 from Windows 95. My problem is our current drive image is not standard and I would like to format and load Windows 2000 fresh, any ideas how I can accomplish the upgrade and still maintain theuniqueness of each desktop with out visiting each desktop and realoading each applicaion.
