Windows 2000 Domain controller not found

Has anyone had any problems migrating from NT 4 to 2000. I can no longer connect my 2000 Pro workstations to my server now that I have upgraded to 2000 Server. I can however connect my WIN 98 clients. Is this is an Active directory setup problem?
