Windows 2000 fail statup

My machine is install with Win2K pro. Unfortunately the motherboard was spoil last 2 days ago. After replacing the motherboard (diff brand and model from original), Win2K Pro not able to boot up and stack in the blue screen with error message “INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE” at the initial stage.
Is there anyway to reconfigure the program without reinstalling the entire Win2000 again ?
Why NT4 can work fine by pluging into another motherboard but not Win2000 ?
