Windows 2000 File to USB Drive Transfer Log?

by apesbum . Updated 19 years, 5 months ago

Hi there

We have a potential confidentiality breach at the place where I work.

The basic scenario is that someone has been suspected of logging into someone’s windows account (using the, lets say ‘victims’ login). This person is then suspected of transferring files from the victims personal drive on the network onto a usb drive. We already have logs which show which usb drive was plugged in and at what time. The thing that will drive the nail in the coffin is if we can prove exactly what files were transferred onto the USB Drive.

My question is a) is this possible? and b) how could we do it?

Any help would be much appreciated..
