Windows 2000 Page File problem

by ruedac . Updated 25 years, 2 months ago

Hello Everyone:
The question that I have is in regards to 2000 Professional. I just built a 2000 machine and installed the following software: Office 2000 Pro, Norton Symantec Antivirus Client 7.01 and Hummingbird (emulation software). After the installation, the computer was working fine. However, today when I started it, it gave me the following error message: your system has no paging file or the paging file is to small. This error occured after trying to log in. Furthermore, the system does not let me get in after this message comes up. It kicks me back into the login screen. I have tried going in through safe mode with no success. I did not do anything with the page file after installing the programs would this be a problem???? How could I get back into the system to make changes to the page file and what changes need to be made??? All help is greatly appreciated.
