Windows 2000 pagefile.sys

When logging onto a windows 2000 workstation, I get the error message that the file pagefile.sys does not exist. And the system returns me to the login window.

How can I force windows 2000 to point to the pagefile.sys file located on the root of the c-drive from the command counsel?
