Windows 2000 – Printing across a WAN?

I am running Windows 2000 server and Windows 2000 Pro Clients on 2 LANS. I would like to send Arcview plots from a client machine on one LAN to a plotter (HP Designjet 750Cplus) on the other LAN. We have a T-1 connection on both ends.
Currently, it is hit or miss when I send a plot (mostly miss). Arcviews plotting isn’t the fastest – even on a LAN. Any recommendations?
