Windows 2000 Pro.

I have a computer with Windows 2000 Pro that worked fine. I installed a Zip & CD Burner Drive to the system and now the computer will not boot up to normal mode. However, It does start up on Safe Mode and VGA Mode. What is wrong with the system and how can I fix the problem.
