Windows 2000 Pro Backup solutions

We just got a W2K PC for a home office and need to do backups. I have a CDRW installed on the PC and would like to use it for backups (spaning disks). Is the backup utility that comes with W2K any good for full backup and recovery? Can any one recommand any software?
