Windows 2000 Pro./Paradox9

With Paradox9 installed, the first time I open pdxwin32.exe it works fine. I close Paradox9 and try to re-open it, but as the Splash Screen comes up, within 5-6 sec. there is an error window that says: Progran Error, pdxwin32.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the Program. An error log is being created.

I have found the Error Log and I know it is the log because I have watched the time change when I try to open pdxwin32.exe when the log is updated. I can not open it because when I try I get the message: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

The sub-dir is: winnt\system32\config\software.log

Please HELP.
