Windows 2000 Professional will not boot.

by bcccliff . Updated 25 years ago

I have an HP 8160 with the following specs:
233 Mhz; 128Mb; 6GB. The drive is partitioned in three 2GB partitions. On the first partition I have windows 95, on partition (2) I have Win2K professional, the third is empty. The problem is I am unable to boot Win 2k. Trying to boot in safe mode shows that the puter is hanging when it reaches winnt\System32\Drivers\Mup.sys. How can I solve this problem?
