When upgrading from NT 4.0 (SP 6.0a) to W2K, is there a way to disable the readiness analyzer and force the upgrade? Where exactly does the analyzer check to find incompatible software/drivers? The readiness analyzer tells me the “shuttle sharer parallel port device” is incompatible. This is the driver that allows my printer and scanner (both HP) to share the same parallel port. The patch supplied by HP to fix this problem did not help, neither did uninstalling the software, nor searching the registry and removing all instances of the shuttle sharer command line.
Any help would be appreciated.
