Windows 2000 server question (easy)

Does anyone happen to know if the software for Windows 2000 server can be used to run your pc the same way as professional…In other words, with Windows 2000 server software could you use it as a home pc (run programs-aim,kazaa,etc.) and connect tothe internet via a dialup? Was just curious. Thanks
