windows 2000 service pack

i loaded win 2000 service pack1 in my computers.my computers can no longer open e-mail attachements of microsoft word and excel .

Other computers in my facility that does not have the service pack1 is working properly.all my computers are windows 2000.is this service pack problem?i downloaded it from the microsoft site.
