Windows 2000 VPNlogon script problem

I have a W2k server which has RRAS fully setup and configured for VPN access. If I attempt to connect to the W2K server using a 98 machine everything working fine. The user logs onto the network and then the domain and then the logon script runs. The problem is that when I try to connect using a W2K Pro machine, it logs onto the network and then the domain and registers with the domain BUT the logon script does not run. So what would make the script run for a 98 client and not for a W2K Pro client?
