Windows 2000 workstation

Have a windows 2000 workstation on the network but they can not access resources off the server but they can access other workstations. From server can not even see the computer so they must not be on the domain tried to add them to domain from the2000 machine but it won’t let me HELP!!!I am not familar with Windows 2000 at all…..
