Windows 95 and RAS

I have a Laptop with Windows 95 installed. I have it setup with the following under network:
Microsoft Network
Dialup Adapter
TCP/IP

It is setup to log into a NT domain, using DHCP for the IP address. When I dial into the server, it connectsand authenticates me, however it tells me that no domain controller could be contacted to validate my password.
When I dial into the server on a Windows 98 machine, setup the same way as the 95 machine, everything works, and I can log into the domain and map drives.
Is there any issues with Windows 95 and connecting to a NT 4.0 server? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.
