I have a windows 2000 Ad server with 10 clients. Plus 1 netware server. The windows 2000 clients connect to the domain fairly easy but I’m having trouble with the win 98 clients logging into the windows 2000 server.
I have 1 win98 client that wentin no problem
it logs into windows and the netware gateway also logs into the novell but others just dont want to. i even installed the dsclient on the other win 98 but it didnt work. perhaps the windows is corrupt??
on the one that works i haveclient for windows with the so called domain name
client for netware
ipx and tcp protocols
I tried to match exactly the other win98 cleints to this one but no go plus i didn’t put dslicent in the one that works
is it an AD problem? object i dbl checked user names and computer names in AD.

the old newate server is the same name as the new windows 2000 name or domain name
