I have a user who decided to dlete some files from His computer running win98 now whenever he dials into his ISP (netzero) the compter disconnects and error message is unable to connect to server. he using Gateway tech support alreade=y has added and removed dialup networking I checked all the network setting and all were OK I figured he hosed net zero so i installed JUNO it installed fine set up account downloaded phone numnber list etc.. Went to dial in same problem! Did an upgrade to Win98 SE did not solve problem I am stumped and the user is fristrated i just can’t think what he could have deleted using add/remove programs that would cause this much of a problem. Networking tcp/ip connec to network etc.. all seem to be OK. Any ideas.
