Windows 98 freezes when using cam..

Hi,All,
I have a Pentium 3 500 mghz system running Win98SE. I am runnng about 97MB RAM. I guess my video card is about 8MB. Anyway,my system keeps freezing after 30 minutes or so after I turn on my cam,and do other things on my PC at the same time.Is it that I don’t have enough RAM,or,do i need to get a faster video card? Thanks in advance for all and any replies.
