windows can not connect to router when ati x700 card is installed

when i install the ati x 700 vga card in the pci express slot then the network card wont see the router
but when i take out the ati card and startup it is connecting with no problems

any one have an idea what that could be?
board is pc chips a33g
wireless network card linksys bfw59g
router linksys bfr59 wireless router
