Windows Error

by johnnynvi . Updated 25 years, 6 months ago

“My computer, 56 K V 90 Modem AMD 3-D K6 processor
96 MB Ram Windows 98 I’m 66 years old and don’t
know much about my computer, so any help would be
appreciated.

When it boots up, a window comes up that says ” Cannot find a device
file that may be needed to run windows or a windows application.
The windows registry or system INI file refers to this device file, but
the device file no longer exists.
If you deleted this file on purpose, try unistalling the associated
application usingits uninstall or set up program.
If you still want to use the application associated with this device
file, try reinstalling that application to replace the missing file.”
UNETSUP. VXD
Press any key to continue.
WHEN I PRESSED A KEY….. the same window comes up again, so I press
another key, and then a window comes up and say’s
” WINDOWS NOT WORKING”
X unable to load the Dynamic Link Library
MSNP 32 dll
The system cannot find the file specified.
Some or all of the following feature is not available.
MICROSOFT NETWORK

I’m afraid that I will need a detail list on what to do. I don’t know why this error keeps comming
up, the computer seems to be working ok, but of course I’m not sure.
Thanks, John
