Windows Explorer Crashes

ASUS M2N32-SLI DLX, 2GB RAM, three HDs partitioned at 130GBs or less, XP Pro…

When copying large files from partition to partition (1gb or so) I cannot open a third partition without Explorer hanging and ultimately crashing, then restarting.

Any ideas?
