Windows explorer problem in NT 4.0

All of a sudden in NT 4.0 SP6a when I open Windows Explorer (either by icon or by running explorer.exe) only the left window is displayed showing the drives. Not even when I click on a drive to open it up will it even display a right windows where files are usually displayed!? I have checked to make sure that show all files, display full path in title bar is checked in settings. I am also in detail view and still don’t see anything!? Any help would be great!
