Windows Explorer “Send To” Command

by dalemiles3000 . Updated 23 years, 8 months ago

I have Windows XP and wish to use the “File” / “Send To” / “Mail Recipient” command within Windows Explorer to open a blank email in Outlook 2002 with the selected file(s) attached. Currently, this opens a blank email in Outlook Express, not Outlook 2002. I’ve confirmed that Outlook 2002 is selected as the default mail handler (and Outlook Express is not). Interestingly, the “Send To” command correctly opens a blank message in Outlook 2002 when used from within an office application, but notWindows Explorer. An explanation or a suggested fix would be really appreciated.
