Windows Explorer Status bar in WinXPhome

Hi all,
I think I am missing something simple here. On my Windows XP home edition P4 PC I use the classic style folders in Windows Explorer, details view, show all files, show full path in title bar and address bar, and set all folders to have thesame view. I set all folders to have the same view after showing the status bar, but when I close WE and re-open it, the status bar is gone again and I have to go through View, … to get it back again. Is there some way to always have it showing? Registry edits are welcome!!
