windows has disabled direct access to pr

Windows 95 OS Error message, please help.
“windows has disabled direct disk access to protect your long file names. To override this protection, see the lock /? command for more information. The system has been halted. Press CTL+ALT+DEL to restart your computer” After you hit CTL+ALT+DEL it restarts to give the same error message. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
