Not the ususal, so watch this one.
98SE on a domain.
Windows login comes up, use null pw, and then you are presented with the net login.
I have a couple of machines that insist on being able to cache the net login a.k.a “Save this password in your password list?”
How can this get screwed up, and is ther a registry tweak to “reset” ALL keys having to do with caching, and .pwl.
Before you think it is the usual, I have installed 95,98,SE,NT and am MSCE, so I know the quick fixes. Have already deleted all .pwl, no am not using profiles, and have tried even a few other things I found out from researching. Even ful reinstall of MSNetworking, TCP/IP and adapter, still happens. Anything else you have ever heard of?
Want to have the primary MS net logon, and bypass the winlogon (use null).
I do that now, but the net logon still comes up asking to cache pw!! This is not the norm!!
Thanx!!
