Windows Me

I am working on a computer with Windows Me. I could make it a member of our Domain and see the networked drives after rebooting the machine. Now the problem is, it can not go to the Internet. I keep getting “Can not find server.” message (I tried other sites also.) Checked the IP Address and it is a valid IP and it has the right DNS server. I uninstalled the Client and TCP-IP protocol and even the adapter several times and I still can not access the Internet. Other computers in the network could ping the computer but the problem computer could not ping the other computers.
According to the user it use to be able to log on to our Domain and access the Internet.
Suggestions please!
