Windows ME error

I am getting the following error when I start my windows ME machine:
“Spool32 has error in LXAEPPRT.dll. Spool32 will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your pc.”
I have restarted and reinstalled the os to no improvement. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!!
