Windows NT Logon Script – Remains

Running Win98 we use the Windows NT Logon Scrips. Sometimes, especially when the Logon Scripts perform longer tasks, the Dialog Box remains displayed and the user must CANCEL the bos to complete the logon. On some PCs (the Faster Ones) the Dialog Box must always be canceled. Is there some parameter to adjust this so the box will disappear always?
