Windows NT Server

by mariapgi . Updated 24 years, 3 months ago

I have a windows NT Server, from a domain controller it was demoted to a backup domain, it used to be mirror set, but as it started making a lot of noise I went in and checked the disks amd I noticed that my Consultant did not mirror it, just created a mprimary partition and a logical drive, anyway the thing is that I have 2 extra hard drives now, the noise I thought it was the power supply, but after changing it twice I knoe it is not the power supply, so my only guessmow is that it is the hard drive failing, how do I get the other 2 hard drives to work, do I create another primary partition, I am not very familiar with windows nt, only windows 2000, how can I get everything that I have on the failing hard drive to go into the extra hard drive, I know there is software out there to do this, I can not think of it. I hope I made myself clear enough for you to understand what I am trying to do, unfortunately my COnsultant no longer works for us so I ahve to step in somehow and get the backup domain going before the hard drive fails completely, as it is right now is off, since the noise is so loud it annoys everyone, or do you think some other device could be making that noise?
Thank you for your support and cooperation in this matter, I really appreciate your help.
Sincerely
Maria Escamilla
