Windows Script??

I want to know how to write a script I can put in a task scheduler to open files at a certain time and more importantly, I want to know how to write a script that will run a ftp to a mvsp host and input text and enter commands, as if I was entering my id and hitting enter?

But, this isn’t worth spending more than $10 on for program and I prefer to try the program before buying to be sure it does what I want it to.

I am running windows 2000 pro.
