Windows Security Message

The PC I?m working on runs 2000 Professional. After boot up of the OS I?m taken to a Windows Security Message instead of a login screen. The Windows Security Message is as follows: Failed to login to the Windows Workstation. Make sure you username and connection information are correct? I click OK and then I?m taken to the login screen. I believe someone in the Call Center was experimenting and found a way to do this. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?
